Large wall mirror with brass frame, brass decoration, wooden frame, mirrored crystal, 1950s.

Specchio grande da parete con cornice in ottone, decorazione in ottone, struttura in legno, cristallo specchiato, anni 50.

Inside the wooden frame is the following inscription in vintage font: Cinguitti employed Ditta Fontana.
Because of this and the quality of execution, the mirror is attributed to Fontana Arte, probably based on a design by Gio Ponti.

All’interno della struttura in legno è presente la seguente scritta con carattere vintage: Cinguitti impiegato Ditta Fontana.
Per questo e per la qualità di esecuzione la specchiera è attribuita a Fontana Arte, probabilmente su disegno di Gio Ponti.

Conditions: Good. Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use.  On the bottom of the mirror the silvering has deteriorated. There is a small solder on a brass curl of the top decoration

Sul fondo dello specchio l’argentatura è deteriorata, E’ presente una piccola saldatura su un ricciolo in ottone della decorazione in alto vedi foto.
