A unique piece, it belongs to the Ultrabodies series, these are various works made of stone pine/Swiss stone pine wood, with different dimensions and communicative intentions. What they have in common is the elusive quality of lightness and estrangement that is felt in the representation. They are made of wood, often displayed on iron structures, with fluid forms and interruptions in line and construction – but they maintain an air of strangeness to the space-time definition, which goes beyond the sensible datum.

Giorgio Giacomo Mariani. He works in sculpture and design, prefers art projects with cultural resonance, and chooses research and design that is user-friendly and communicative. Born in Milan, he lives and works in Emilia Romagna, where he can count on the support of a tradition of quality craftsmanship for achievements that combine artistic inspiration and high craftsmanship. The main goal of the artist and designer, is to design and create works that last over time, and that are accessible to anyone, without physical and cultural time limits.

Esemplare unico, appartiene alla serie Ultracorpi, sono varie opere in legno di cirmolo/pino cembro, con dimensioni e intenzioni comunicative diverse. Ciò che le accomuna è l’inafferrabile qualità di leggerezza e straniamento che si percepisce nella rappresentazione. Sono in legno, spesso esposte su strutture in ferro, con forme fluide e interruzioni nelle linee e nella costruzione – ma mantengono un’aria di estraneità alla definizione spazio tempo, che va oltre il dato sensibile.

Giorgio Giacomo Mariani. Si occupa di scultura e design, predilige progetti artistici con risonanza culturale, sceglie la ricerca e il design di facile uso e comunicativo. Nato a Milano, vive e lavora in Emilia Romagna, dove può contare sul supporto di una tradizione artigianale di qualità per realizzazioni che uniscono ispirazione artistica e alto artigianato.
